Niche Guest posting is really helpful for me too. I find it by using Google operators, like:

Your Keyword "write for us"
Your Keyword "Guest post"
and many others.

or you can also find guest post on Myblogguest.com, postjoint.com, postrunner.com etc.

For local sites citations and aiming to build reviews
Used a few BHW link building services
 
I'm using link pyramid profile links PDF Submission video submission BMs blog commenting pic submission article and PR submission etc
 
In my experience social networks and social bookmarks is best way to get traffic. i ranked all my keywords using this, i always give priority to this technique.
 
Just get your site linked on cnn like me and you get massive link juice lol.

I have lost faith in forum signatures long ago. Now i focus upon web2.0, manual social bookmarking, profile links in high pr sites only, blog posts, social medial signals,etc.
 
Generally always looking to provide good connections relevant to my site sites. Then look to procure a little of everything to make it look more natural.


Guest blogging at the moment for me works well.

I say it depends on the profile of your website.

I use a mix of my Private Blog Network (my own, not packages), high quality web 2.0, legit guest blogging and miscellaneous links coming from competitor research as the main source of links these day.

Anything that has "do follow" in the tag. Some "no follow" for diversification. Blog comments are good for traffic.
 
Today i'm experimenting an another SEO Project with tier 1 links only. Just boosting tier 1 links through various web 2.0, article directories and making a strong link relationship.
 
All off page Mated are the best for increasing the traffic ranking of website.
