I do not agree. Article marketing is effective for link building and promotion of your business. The important thing is that how best you can utilize your article, specially once it is submitted to 100,200,300 or 1000s of article directories
. Recently i read an article and it helped my get a more better understanding that how effectively we can use articles, specially once they are published in article directories.

These techniques are much enough...Signature backlinks still pretty good but just on high pr forums.

Photo sharing and photo pin sites such as Pinterest, WeHeartIt and Tumblr are the way to go for backlinks as most allow some type of tag/post (where you can insert your keywords) and have a built in social marketing aspect that you won't get with article directories.

I also use these technique, but i add it by, social networking, blog comments, edu/gove, and many others link building technique.

Blog commenting, web 2.0, article directory, slide and document sharing, back-linking, forum posting and guest posting. They all work good for me.
