What link building techniques do you use?

I think the professional SEO will never tell all the details, in my opinion I have to do test by myself and find the best sources of links.

Ok, so I shared this yesterday, found a thread this morning and thought it would be appropriate to post there. I just saw this pop up, and since quite a few people have posted on this thread this year, I will share it again. Obviously there aren't my guides, but after looking at all the top backlink guides, these are definitely the top 5; here and here and here and here and here

Mainly using contextual links like articles, web 2.0, guest posting, blogs and press release.. Occasionally I prefer social bookmarking and profile links..

It's really great info :)

Forums give me huge spikes in traffic, definitely worth giving them some time and getting to know people on there too. People seem to be way more responsive if they some kind of relationship with you.

I think all of these can provide you the efficient results.
But Forum posting contributes the largest share among them.

Hi, I'm a part-time blogger. I have no hidden link building strategy. I always share my blog post on various social media networks, do High PR blog commenting and Forum posting. That's enough for me to drive more traffic to my blog.

Great! I wonder how the companies manage to involve so many professionals and work on such complex projects! You should be really gifted. Usually, I try searching for single division: design or marketing. To find more narrowly-qualified specialists. However, it's clear for me now, that big companies provide wide knowledge. Have you heard about guys from http://www.networkmarketingtrainingtoday.com/

I use the following linkbuilding format to get top ranking in Google. One thing must be in mind when building backlinks that Google Loves:

Link Velocity and varied links from different sources. So always try to build links consistently using many variations for anchor text and on different platforms. Anyways, I use the following linkbuilding method to grab top listings:

1- Socialbookmarking using multiple accounts at onlywire.com This gives my website a soft linkbuilding boost.
2- Article marketing
3- Blog posts on multiple blog networks for contextual backlinks.
4- Blog commenting on actual high PR blog pages.
5- Twittering and facebook updates.
6- Press releases
7- Craigslist ads and then social bookmark all ads and all articles that I submit to various article directories.

I write and submit at least one article/day for thirty days and then spin those articles and submit them to blog networks. Moreover I also use those articles with a little rewriting as a press release and submit them to 2-5 free press release sites. I social bookmark every thing that I post online. It results in a good ranking in Google after 20-30 days for medium keywords.

I would strongly advise guest posting. If you can't hire other people to do this, consider writing yourself. If you can do this, you can pretty much own the writing world :)
