what lessons did you learn during IM career?

Cliche as fuck, but "Don't give up".. Very true. My fail to success ratio is like 100:1.
Create multiple income streams.

And work hard.

Talking from experience?

Buy high sell low, rinse, repeat, pretend you are a big time billionaire and don't give a fuck what others think. Then cry one's self to sleep and hope mummy comes in to give you a cuddle. True story, the life of 96% of IM'ers these days.

One of the biggest insights I got is that you never know what will eventually bring in the profits.

You need to diversify with as much sources as possible, trying to stress test all of them as quickly as possible in order to be able to count out those that don't work and scale those that do.

This may sound like some woo woo fairy bullshit but I believe the relentless pursuit of anything over years, being seriously dedicated and giving your all will reveal to you key life principles that can be applied to a multitude of other areas.

IM has given me everything. I have no idea where I would be without it.

I agree that money is speed, what I've learned is that you shouldn't have the mindset of "never giving up". If it has been months and you have still earned $10, it's worth giving up. If you have the mindset of "never giving up" you're going to end up losing a lot of money. If the niche you're doing is profitable, you should have made at least $100+ in the first month.

My second thing is don't do anything short term. If your entire operation can be wiped out in a second by something you have no control over, why are you pouring your blood and sweat into this?

Lastly, you should focus on yourself. Try not to get caught up looking at other people's earning and just focus on yourself. Every time I see someone who makes much more than me in my same niche, I feel like complete shit.

I have learned this the hard way and went through a lot of depression and failures before I learned these things.

Don't put all the eggs in the same basket. Make various income sources.

Past 15 or so years, I have learned TONS of things, but 3 of them, I consider the most important:

1. Things take time.. Even in performance marketing, it takes time to see real results. Newbies should root impatience out ASAP
2. You get what you pay for.
3. Nobody cares about you, they only care about themselves.

There is no easy money. I trying maany things since last july and still stick with almost nothing:-(

1. Every month save % of your monthly income as untouchable savings.
2. Don't put all eggs in one basket. You should have a plan B and plan C in case if you lose you main source of income.

It may seems as a simple rules but i learnt them through the hard way. I had my first successful project online and I did not save my money and at most unexpected moment I lost this sourses of income because it was black hat.

It's f*cking hard to start with no money to invest, but it is doable.
Focus!
