What led you to the BlackHat path?

BHW used to be about blackhat. Period. The forum had virtually nothing to do with ranking sites or "Blackhat" SEO.
I started out making decent money in ecommerce. Google fucked me and I didn't have the skills at the time, nor the knowledge of how to keep up with their changes so I turned to blackhat. REAL blackhat. Shit that BHW used to be filled with. I started making $xxx,xxxx per year. Things fell off and BHW started to become a forum about blogging, niche sites etc so I figured I'd give it a try. Made pennies like I'm sure most do and said fuck it. I'm now back at real blackhat and back to making huge money.

I think this is a common story among the vets. After lots of testing, blackhat works. And by blackhat we mean what Google matt cu(n)tts says does not work.
Put it this way:
Whitehat: you spend $500 on ranking a good quality website over 3 months, then gets pushed down the ranks.
Blackhat: you spend $50 ranking a shit site over 1 week, and gets pushed down the ranks.
Which one are YOU going to do?

google let meto this path. I started back in 2007 and I have been doing lot of quality hand written blogs, but they never ranked so I had to start with link building and all the stuff that is now considered blackhat.

a lot of great sellers on market place which i can buy service from if i was not able to find BHW i would not able making money which i am making now !
