IMO, Dell has some NICE deals. Whenever I do buy a laptop, I usually just get dell. They have amazing support. I have had few times I was out of warranty, and they still fixed issue for free. Great company. Anyway, for business I mainly use my desktop that I built myself.

I have Acer aspire with specs I'm not proud of. It's running for like 7 years I think. Battery died couple of years ago,hooked up like a desktop pc.Some keyboard keys aren't workimg, A wireless keyboard does the job well.
It heats up like a bad bitch every now and then.
Just waiting for the thing to die out, I have money but don't want spend it I guess?
I will go for a macbook after dis.

Personally I have just got Dell XPS 15 (9560 16GB Ram, 512GBSSD, Nividia1050, MatteScreen, Fingerprint Scanner) just a few months ago and absolutely love this. Its a perfect balance of specs and price. However if you need something lighter and don't mind something small the Dell XPS13 is truly amazing and freaking lightweight. So depends on what you want to focus on (lightweight or more power and bigger screen), plus I recommend getting the Dell Power Companion which is basically a power back for you laptop haha, since I'm a student too this thing is amazing for when your in a rush and you're staying back in school to do work. I get about 75% charge from 10% using the battery pack for the Dell XPS 15.

Happy with it, but I wish I had more RAM
