Just bought macbook air 2018 256ssd. So far so good.

But if you prefer windows i would suggest dell xps or lenovo thinkpad x1 carbon

Macbook Air 2014 | 1.4 GHz i5 | 128 SSD

Mostly for iOS development, though I'm working on with Unity3D and Unreal Engine for the last year, so it might be time for an upgrade

I have the x1 carbon, it’s very good.

The MacBook is on my wish list. Mainly because I need to learn how to use Mac OS.

I use a PC.

Lenovo think centre

1TB HD
16gb RAM
2 screens

All the bells and whistles USB 3.0 SD card connections etc.

Don't utilise most of it but it was an absolute steal. A doctor was selling it in the next town found it online.

Runs Photoshop etc easy. Pretty much any application.

Mrs does photography and she regularly edits all her photos on it.

It didn't like running jarvee too much but maybe down to bandwidth.

I got Win7 on my Lenovo Thinkpad T430 (8gb ram/i5/320 HDD), i will use Win7 till 2020 and then switch to Linux(Manjaro) or even get an Mac OS X but it's pretty expensive too...
