What kinda theme, website builder for constantly updating site?

I want to build a site that continuously gets data updated from external apis/sources and the data should be updated in real-time(no-refresh). What kinda theme/builder on wordpress would be suitable for such website. minimal and heavily customizable kinda is preferred. Lemme know if you have worked on something similar or any opinions on that.
