I knew a few guys who use coding/programming to make building large twitter accounts easier. Anyone know where to start with that?

I know people who can code which allows them to create thousands of accounts that follow hundreds a day. All autopilot. That's what I want to learn.

Try researching existing tools instead of learning a programming language from scratch.

I'm aware of existing bots it's just learning how to code will save a lot of money. And I'd be able to tweak the bot to suit my campaigns.

If you learn to code yourself, you will always be able to have a bot and update it yourself , and never have to wait for the developers to update the system. It's also good to know beacuse then you can offer services with the methods you come up with for your private bot, not to mention the money it will save you.

Where should I start? Other people have recommended courses like codeacademy but I'm not sure it will teach me how to make twitter bots specifically.

You can't learn how to build such bots in few days or so. You'll have to invest some time and start from the basics which codeacademy can give you.

That depends if you're fast learner or not. Sometimes it takes more than few months, even more than a year to understand how everything works and why it's working like that.
First of all you have to be familiar with HTML because in almost every bot you'll have to parse something.
Then HTTP protocol(headers, status codes, responses and etc.).

When you know these things, you can pick a language by your choice. I think most of the web bots are written in C#. I'm also using C# for writing bots. But you can go with Java, Python or any other language that you'll feel comfortable with.

Check the programming section of the forum for more info.
