Im seeing this on a few sites at the moment:

Check out this sites backlinks in yahoo site explorer:

reatailmenotdotcom

Check out the back links.. all of them are not properly formated, and seem to be a hack

/product_reviews.php/
/xmlrpc.php/
/robotst.xt/

Any thoughts?

i also curious to know..
you also can find this kind of backlinks for news site ( eg: google trends )
looks like a virus/malware to me..
but maybe someone have better explanation

The hack of the misspelled domain.... isn't the wrong site, domain? retailmenot.com is the big one, retail not reatail.
