Her fans and the media.
When a person reaches the status of a Super Star like Ms. Houston did your life is no longer private. Her onstage persona and her private life should have been seperate but unfortunately it wasn't.
I really think that being in the public eye as she was led to events that caused her demise. The whole thing about her and Bobby Brown was reported ad nauseum in the media. Who's business was that other than theirs?
If the toxicology test show that she was taking anti-anxiety drugs then can anyone not understand why? Unfortunately these types of drugs are addicting physically and physcologically.
When confronted with pseudo truths and down right lies in the media women especially want to go to that happy place.
I think this led to a roller coaster ride. The more she tried to escape that beast the more it hounded her.
I will miss that gorgeous voice of hers.
And before you good people accuse me of being a Democrat, I'm and OLD white guy raised in the deep south.
