What keyword research tool or method is best? [FRUSTRATED]

Does anyone know a tutorial on keyword research that works?

All the tools give different statistics, ahrefs says mega easy, same keyword in keyword keg says difficult?

All the youtube videos + articles are just affiliating the tools. Seems to be no trustworthy content on keyword research?

Lots of keyword research guides here, just look around.
 
Google keyword planner should do. I wouldn't procrastinate between tools.
I like to start from guessing.

When I perform a search here it does not order it by date... I was wondering if there are any reputable guides that are recent.

Use a couple of different tools, plus use your own common sense.

I tend to use Keysearch or KWFinder and Ahrefs.

Google is useful too

Thanks mate for the clarification, one of my big questions was if people here actually used the tools or manually analysed the SERPS to determine ranking ability. I cannot find any good manually analysing content, but using ahrefs + kwfinder should do the job, cheers.

Yeah fun huh. And once you think you understand all the metrix then you will find out that some sites rank on the first page with a shit DA, PA, almost no backlinks and still rank above a site with a strong DA, PA and a bunch of backlinks.
 
Use ahref as it has bigger database. So more accurate data. And always mix with google ads keyword planner. They have the real data but you cant get the keyword difficulty from there.

+ bonus, how to handle bad days:
 
google keyword planner is good one according to me. i am following it and getting good results.
 
1. Get Ahrefs
2. Put your competitor URL and head over to organic keywords.
3. Don't be based on their KD (keyword difficulty) as it's not accurate. Not from Ahrefs, and not any other tool.
4. Do analysis with Ahrefs for that keyword. I tend to focus on AR (Ahrefs Rating) which shows how strong the root domains are. If you see lots with millions, that's a good thing. If not, then it's not a bad keyword to go for. Also make sure to check the referring domains that Ahrefs gives.
5. Use this search query in Google - allintitle:"yourkeyword". The fewer results it shows, the better it is. P.s make sure to go to the last page on Google, because first results that Google gives are fake.

I've seen 99% of SEOs even the "Pro ones" taking as accurate the data that is on the first page.

For example

Go with AHREFS if you can afford it. It does not matter so much what each tool says, rather consistensy is needed. Also AHREFS has plenty of free in-depth tutorials you can follow. I use semrush keyword tool for competitor keyword research and keyword everywhere chrome plugin and do google autosuggestion
