What keeps you motivated ?

You don't need motivation if when you stop work you starve!
Isn't this the BIGGEST MOTIVATION in the universe !
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For me, helping my family to have a better life. And helping as many people as I can. Let's say I'm frightened to death from dying without leaving any footprints

No matter what it is that you're trying to do in life -- achieve a goal, balance your work with your fun, cultivate meaningful relationships, or change the world -- in order to get it done, you must stay motivated. And, no matter who you are, you've probably had some low points when it comes to motivation. Today's guest post by Justin from The Uncommon Life will provide you with 5 techniques that will keep you on track when it comes to motivation -- no matter what your life's goal is.

Some folks are motivated by spamming forums.

Shits tough. Every dollar I make actually makes things easier for me. Eventually I won't be self employed and will actually be able to hire people to perform almost every vital function of my business and will still allow me to make money - then I will be an entrepreneur. Laziness motivates me.

I hate 8-5 job working for stupid 300$ a month, And idea escaping that keeps me motivated as hell

MONEY. All the stories about "the bigger goal", "well motivated" etc. come from the people who want you working for peanuts or for free. It is always about the money!

1. High cost of living
2. Better life for me and those who depend on me.

I don't need motivation. If you need motivation you're in the wrong thing. If you live and die by the results, then you're not enjoying the journey. Someone who lives in their mind; a day dreamer, who doesn't live in the present is wasting their life. Find something you enjoy right now, for all you know you could be dead in a year from now. Never really experiencing life, because you only existed in your dreams.

Doing this just for the money? Wrong answer.

You see all these wealthy people Donald Trump, Richard Brandson all multi-billionaires who could retire tomorrow if they wanted to. The main thing that keeps them getting up full of energy is THEY TRUELY ENJOY WHAT THEY DO. Do they have bad days? Sure. Do they have stress? Sure.

You need to ask yourself some hard questions...

"Is this truly what I want to do with my life? If the economy shut down tomorrow, would I still be doing this for free?"

I'm not saying you have to be obsessed/passionate, but at the very least you should enjoy it.

Life really is way too short.

of course we all want to make money, so it is almost the top reasons for motivation.

But considering that we all dont make money all the time, its much deeper then $$$.

Learning new things and mastering them is a huge motivation.

Heck some people actually are motivated to help make the internet a better place for us all.
Then again, some only care about the $$$ and not the actual content they promote.

It is said a great salesman can sell shoes to anyone, but an even better salesman can sell them extra laces and other extras for the shoes they had no intention on buying.

With me, I really wish to make a decent living off of my niche ideas, plus, it would be awesome to have a site become a household name.
That is what motivates me most.

So much this.

I highly value my freedom so a regular 9-5 slave job just doesn't fit in my life.

What keeps me motivated through my work? Well that's a tough question to start with it's the inner peace and the fruitful reward that is expected from the work. :D
