What Journey Should I Start?

Howdy.

Was looking to start a journey or something (to keep me accountable), but not sure what seems the most interesting.

What would people like to see?

I actually gave myself 3 months to get something going...and couldn't. 2025 has been the worst year for me, second only to the year when I started and had no idea what to do. I could even have gotten a job 3 months after starting, back in 2018...but I can't get a job (in IM that can allow me to save, not just live) now for some reason.

So any of these things might work, but maybe none do...

1) Native ads to $500/day in rev. I've spent 8.3k in native, made back 6k. Tried native ads, stopped, started something else, and came back to native (no joke) 15 different times, never could make it work.
2) Google ads to affiliate products. Was working great in 2023, is fuken horrendous now, but still...
3) 1k/month with Facebook ads + list building + affiliate products.
4) Youtube channel in a hobby niche. LONG, long term. Not focused on making money per se. This is what I'm CURRENTLY doing and WOULD STILL DO if I didn't make a cent. This is the niche for me. Found it after almost 30 years.
5) SEO affiliate to 1k/month. I lost all my shit to google, 3 times and said I'd never do it again...but now that #4 is in the cards...I could do some keyword research and articles to sell products. Will take months, might lose it all in 2 days like in the past.

I would say, follow your passion. You said you like #4 and would do it even if you dont make a cent. Keep doing it. Youtube is booming as always and you will be able to monetize as soon as you get you subscribers and hours watch met. All the best!

Of course, this is the long term idea, but I don't think most people here would like to see that. Anyways, 1 vote to #4 then

Hello my friend! You attract what you want for your life or receive what you ask for in the medium or long term. What we all often lack is consistency and persistence in what we truly want.
I suggest you run some tests on Google using organic ads through Facebook Marketplace, especially in local groups where you can deliver your products or services, if that’s your area of work. After getting some results, then you can start using paid traffic.
Also, make sure you’re holding Bitcoin in self-custody and take some time to study more about cryptocurrencies so your money can grow over time. There are also simple ways to make money, like delivering pizza or selling homemade treats like brigadeiros. What I’m trying to say is that you should also diversify to build resilience, gain strength, and push forward in the digital world to become a winner.

Do what you think you would enjoy. Having fun with something would lead to greater results.
 
i think you need to focus on selling something to business owners. that's where people like to spend there money
People tend to invest more when they believe a return is coming

I think you should choose the journey with 4. YouTube niche because that is what you really love and are willing to do long-term, even when you don't have money. From there, you can expand to SEO affiliate or combine Facebook list building to create a secondary income stream. The important thing is to choose something you can go the long way and share the journey honestly to create motivation and attract the community to join you.

This is actually, a great idea. In the past, I sold SAAS products, and 100% of affiliate sales were refunds, and 99% of my sales were to businesses (very few refunds). So it's in the right direction: Selling something to people with money. The only issue I have with this, is that, I'm naturally, very skeptical. The service/product has to be INsanely good. Something so good, that I'm fine spending 10+ years providing. And I could spend 3 years building a product and client base...and then burn out, get replaced, etc.

+4 Votes for #4. My only concern, is that I'll take a looong time to profit (as opposed to something like native ads, where I could be making money tomorrow) and that people here won't care for this journey, if it's not something flashy like "how I made 14k with this pdf" or whatever. Thanks for the comments :D
 
If you still have money to fund a paid traffic campaign, focus on monthly recurring services.
You may lose in the first month, but once you've got that client, your losses become profits.

honestly number four sounds like the best fit. if you enjoy it even without making money, that says a lot. you could mix in a bit of number five over time to support it. the other options seem to bring more stress than progress. stick with what you actually like doing.
 
Stick to #4 since you can afford to do it for love and not for money. It is said to keep doing what you love and eventually the money will come. This is a luxury that many people online can't afford.

Since you are in a unique position, go for it and never look back. Have your fun!
 
If YouTube is something you genuinely enjoy and would keep doing even without making money, that’s probably the path worth focusing on.
 
Hey man, honestly #4 sounds like the clear winner. You said you’d do it even if it made nothing — that’s rare and says a lot. If you’re actually enjoying it, stick with it and build from there. You can always layer in SEO or affiliate stuff later once you’ve got momentum. Just keep showing up. You’ve got this.
