What I've Learned About SEO

Hello,

I had wanted to get some input on whether the information which I am learning is valid.


1. You create accounts on "Web 2.0 Blogs" and make them legitimate.
2. You post onto those accounts legitimate articles.
a. The articles are of the keyword which you wish to achieve rankings on.
b. You put a link in this article to your "money site".
3. You promote these "Web 2.0 Blogs" with backlinks.

Does this seem like the basics? Can anyone share some more information which I can look into and learn more?

You also promote other niche-related, or completely unrelated (depending on the web 2.0 blog) links to make it more relevant. Also if you are using the same web 2.0s you need to consider a strategy how you can cover your registrations and activities via proxies, if you are registering many on the same platform.

Spread the creation and linking out, never make anything the same way twice. There is always a dwindling amount of web 2.0 blogs in circulation. I only count about 100-200 websites that have a free blog feature. Newer ones don't replace the old ones going out of business at the same rate. we are going to run out of free models eventually! (hopefully not)
 
I will not recommend only using web 2.0. Get also some gues post or PBNS for tier 1 links. Web 2.0 is decent for tier 2 links

Do you mean promote other niche-related content on these "Web 2.0 Blogs"?

I was thinking about buying articles and then posting them on the blogs. How many "Web 2.0 Blog" accounts would you need for one site? I was thinking that each one would get an 1-3 articles per month.

It depends on what you're after and trying to achieve.
You can use Web 2.0s as tier 1 or if you have the budget as tier 2.
 
you are getting there, all of what you have mentioned is some part of the entire puzzle

What do you mean: "If you have the budget as tier 2". Could you please explain? Thank you.

Those are the basics. You then do something similar or non web 2.0 as well. This ends up generating a PBN where the P stands for PRIVATE. Some folks begin to sell links from their PBN turning the P into PUBLIC.
 
this is basically the idea of creating any buffer website, wherever it's the case for pbns or web 2.0s,

when it comes to content, you don't really need to focus on the keywords you want to rank,
getting niche relevant content is enough and would make it easier at a large scale,

while web 2.0s could be useful for many easy/medium competition niches, pbns are much better,
therefore you can either get some weak expired domains and power them up or use expired ones with ready quality links pointing to them

Have you not heard of guest posts? Basically, instead of posting legitimate articles in web 2.0s, you submit them to real sites, with authority and related to your niche. You get in return a much powerful contextual do follow link. Your time is better spent doing this imo.
 
There is still loads to learn but atleast you have started
