What Is Youtube Doing ?

Auto updating people to a premium account once they get there credit card details without any permission in doing so ?
Surely this activity would be Illegal?

This is how there doing it. They ask you for your age verification via your credit card. Once you give them this info they will auto subscribe you to there premium service without you knowing about it. So if anybody has linked there cards to there youtube channels be sure to check if you have been auto subscribed to there premium service. "WITHOUT NOTICE BY THE WAY"

Unbelievable how they can get away with these activities.

It seems to be a later date they are being charged. It's like youtube is waiting for you to forget about it then at a later date you get subscribed automatically.

Has this happened to you personally? Can't find much else online.

There is youtubensfw.com to bypass it but yeah it sucks

just file a complaint and request a refund ... problem solved.

Youtube never do that , there is a prompt asking to get 1 month free trial if you accept it they will send you a notification when your trial has expired.

If you skip the trial they never charge you for it.

I'm sure you have done something and you forgot, it happens all the time. Or someone else used your account to subscribe.

Just cancel the subscription.

I think it's a loophole for youtube to make some extra cash, It has nothing to do with them asking you to sign up to there premium service. That is in plain sight. But they ask you for your age verification so that you can watch over 18's content. How they do this is by asking you for your credit card details, to prove to them you are over 18. After a month or so they auto subscribe you to there premium service.

Try this, Get a new google gmail account then go to some over 18's content like smoking CBD Flower for example. You might get asked there and then for your card details to prove your age. Once you do this then wait a while and check back to see if you have been auto subscribed to premium. It happened to a friend of mine. So i went through the process also and BAM!!! It happened to me also.

There conning people. Amazon do this also with there "PRIME" Service. So youtube has found there own method for doing a similar thing.

Wow thats bad , But Youtube premium is still not available here
