Hi!
I am wondering is it better to use WP blog plugins or just go with the default?
And do you guys use SEO plugins for your WP blogs. If yes, which ones?

Thanks

Plugins make you work easier. For SEO maybe you can install Yoast SEO plugins. You can install any plugins depends on what you want to do.

Plugins are essential. You need a security plugin at least, such as securi or wordfence. As to SEO plugins, I only use yoast. But don't get too OCD with what yoast says, only use it as a guide.

I also like adding social sharing, pretty links (for affiliate links) and other plugins, depending on the type of site im building.

For seo, the standard nowadays is YOAS SEO. I would go slow with plugins though, just as your computer, when you install too many it makes the system go slow and/or may break compatibility. Install only as you need them.

I always use WP blog plugin for my blog setup, because it has so many new options in it. And for SEO i am currently using yoast SEO. This plugin is just working great.

WP CLI
Yoast/SEO Website Framework
Akisment
Gravity Forms
Lightweight custom theme
Kraken
W3 Total Cache

plugins for css and js minifying would be a must for me. you can try autoptimize for free, or better go with wp rocket.

For SEO, you can use The SEO Framework (my favorite) or Yoast. MyThemeShop has a new SEO plugin as well, called Rank Math, but I'm yet to test it.

Yes we use, plugins depends on what type of your site is.
Basically i use yoast, W3 Total Cache, etc.

Yoast is good, but wordpress editor has problem with it for me
