The shutdowns are exactly why I spread out the subreddits.
It's not easy getting them up and running but there's a lot of revenue streams available and thinking outside the box goes a long way, too. I.e., you've got a massive subreddit, sell one of the sticky posts on the sub to a company that's wanting some targetted, cost effective advertising

I hadn't thought about advertising like that on Reddit. Reddit shoutouts.
I imagine it's against the TOS though, so the sub admin needs to be super careful about what is being advertised.
Competitors would jump on the occasion to report the sub.

How did you grow the subreddit? Would you mind sharing which part of the POS you didn’t comply with. For example: using multiple accounts to cheat upvotes, using multiple account to circumvent a ban in another subreddit, getting too many reports from users, etc.
I'm interested in such a thing, can I talk with you somehow?
