At a business course many years ago a rather arrogant guy , after talking in detail about the size of his car, his house and his bank account, came out with the same comment talking about Richard Branson.

Me, being the type of guy I am said, " obviously you have fuck all ambition otherwise you'd rather aim to be a £ in front of him"

Soon shut him up. But I was meaning, aim for something achievable if you are doing what plenty of others are doing. To become a billionaire you need to be doing something new and revolutionary and doing it well. The guy I shot down, was trying to do the same as 10 other people in the same room, so competing with thousands of the same in the UK. Nothing unique.

Don't be a sheep and follow what everyone else is doing......

it could be, but that doesn't take away from the fact that your stream can end. I know it's not the perfect example, but look what's happening to Youtube publishers. Advertisers are pulling their money away and that's something nobody can control, so they lose money. Probably nobody thought this would happen 5 years ago.

My point is that if you don't have a sizeable sum of money, it might not be the best idea to go all in with IM. What happens when your site gets penalized or policies change? Money stops coming in, and you have no food on the table.

You don't want to be a 40/50/60 year old who has to start flipping burgers as a last resort because you stopped making money with IM.

That is why you build multiple income streams haha, but I get your point. However I wouldn't like to stay working a 9/5 if not necissery. Offline business is more risk too in my opinion.

will be expensive to get it to #2 :/

some small changes like 1k from 2 or 3 clients per month.

and the usual 2k from my youtube money generators.

depends. in de. if you bullshit company for 6 months of being the loyal azz licking employee cunt, you can apply for "part time".
after that, its 30h hours max, 100% job security and health insurances paid.
ah nd the rest of te time, you can spend on your money making online endeavours.

done that in the past. wiill do it again if I have children sometime ;)
 
I am guessing I have several long-term and short-term goals in IM. To begin with, I would love to develop my content writing company to the fullest and reach over $4,000 a month in net revenue. That would be something that would make me pretty much happy, and what I consider to be a short-term goal.

On the side of long-term goals in IM, as most of the members here on this forum, I plan on diversifying my income streams and building a stable business that will allow me to create a lifestyle I think I deserve.
 
My goal is to only have to work 4-6 hours a day in IM, and then use the rest of the time to study & learn programming in depth.
 
Feed my family

Make websites that worth millions and sell it on autopilot
