I mean when you use a software/app, what kind of software is the best and most handy for you to use.

I know they all have different usages, pros and powers, but personally I still love old type of programs such as windows desktop based software like .exe files. It feels so powerful and flexible.

I don't like cloud/web based tools that much. They are more like websites rather than software to me.

I agree, but that is because I lack some skills and have others. I love my exe apps!

You are right, exes are kinda better, but with desktop based software developer need to take measures to avoid cracking, fix tons of possible problems because software dont work for user X and Y.
Cloud based software is better choice from developer point of view. No risk of cracking, recurring payments, easier updates (user may dont even see when updates are performed).

Yeah that is the biggest pros of cloud based apps. Also you can reach and use them anywhere from any device. Just a simple web browser is enough.

These are really big advantages. And most apps are cloud based these days and companies always hire developers who are able to develop them.

But it still doesn't feel like a software and feels like a website instead. And don't come in handy, I don't enjoy using them.

I am good at developing desktop based software, but I wish I could do the same with the web.

Depends on what it is - cloud based software can't be relied on because the company could go belly up, but at the same time software needs to be updated regularly if it's parsing/useing the web.

Prefer software if it's something that's repetitive use and not subject to change too much.

Desktop based, old but gold

I like web applications alot.
I don't like too many installs on my desktop.
