What is your favorite programming language and why?

Typescript. I mean there are much better typed languages and typescript is more of a linter than a standalone language, but I love it because it takes the pain away from Javascript, be it node.js or browsers. My day job involves working on client-side JS mostly. Typescript helps quite a lot in this regard.
 
Not to mention: juicy. Feeling so fertile.

SQL. You get the most bang for your programming finger press buck with it.
 
Ah, the eternal debate! For me, it's gotta be Python. :alien: It's like the chill friend who’s there for everything, always ready! :suspicious:
 
Python and is not even close.

Not only is one of the easiest programming languages to learn for beginners, it has soo many applications for SEO from automating tedious and repetitive tasks to data analysis.
 
Assembly language (ASM).

I don't know how to use it but it is my favorite because the output of 0's and 1's looks cool.
