What is your favorite backlink checking tool?

Like others have said ahrefs and majestic but they are far from perfect unfortunately, SERPWoo mentioned here too has become one of my main go to tools now for my own projects, treasure chest of pure data.
 
its hard to find the alternate for ahref,.. anyway majesticseo, backlinkwatch,.. These two are good :)
 
Ahrefs is the best one. I prefer ahrefs. That one tool is enough i think so.
 
Google webmaster's is the best tool for checking your own links. For other sites I use everything from Backlinkwathc to Ahrefs. I don't have a premium account on any of these websites so using multiple sites for free is the best possibility.
 
Ahrefs should give the best idea as it gives most of the links though lots of them may not be google indexed.
 
If your looking for the most backlinks, and have some good budget, use linkresearchtools.com - it aggregated backlink-data from up to 22 backlinks sources, and combines them. Further, there are some other neat tools, like missing link juice ( links pointing to 404, 503 urls, etc. )

Otherwise ahrefs.com, but I also use MajesticSEO occasionally.
 
I have found ahrefs to be the quickest to pick up backlinks as well as being the one with the largest collection of backlinks.
 
In the matter of fact,AHREF is the best tool ever..Anyhow for alternative we can choose analyze backlink and open site explorer.
