Seriously, I have purchased a .us exact domain for a keyword with difficult level of about 40. Didn;t do a huge backlink on it, but it ranked 90 position, was dancing back and forth.
Forthe backlink, I just sent few high PA web 2.0 links to it, and the pages are less than 4 pages.
