Oh geez haha. Whenever I see this, the "dear sir" I am gone faster than ever. Personally I get people are trying to be respectful, but if its over like blackhatworld and someone says that. I automatically assume they are scamming, because so many scammers use the word "dear" when talking to people.

that’s why i stay away from fiverr.

they only care about making some quick easy bucks and don’t care about what you get actually.

once i wanted to buy some wordpress service, and didn’t even order yet,

the seller say ‘did you buy domain and hosting?’ and keep sending me affiliate links. what the fuck.

Completely agreed.

If someone approaches me this way, I shut the door or just say a ridiculous low number.

I see both sides of the argument but what I don’t like is seeing a website like Fiverr with a clear price structure and then when you open a discussion they ask for budget. Of course you want to walk away, the price proposed was one of the reason you’re even talking to them.

And where you are a client and you know you’re being squeezed by the maximum.

On Upwork you ask for a job, put the high end of the fork of the budget and every freelancer reply with this said budget to do the work. Even when it doesn’t make sense.
This is why I like fixed and clear service.

Usually such questions are asked by inexperienced people who have not learned how to adequately evaluate their work, these people first of all think about what they will receive, and not what they will give.
