What is your average reach per Facebook post?

Yes, if it's engaging it helps... but facebook are changing the algorithm more in future right? What if that 20% will become 10% or less. I hope not

Across 10 pages or so my average reach is 20-30% each. Pages range from 90k-400k likes
Give your users engaging content, there's no real secret to it.

100,000 likes, 5k reach. So, 5%. Another page with 30,000 likes has 2,000 reach. So, around 6-7%. Not much, sadly.

yeah for me too, reach has been terrible last couple of months, dont know why

A month or so ago I shared some logical tips in order to increase the reach.

Make people come and like/comment (aka be active) on your page. Well, that's the overall point anyway, but the thing is: ask your friends to do that constantly. You could pay them a little bit, ask them to do it for free, give discounts or something like that for their activity. The faster and more people like/comment, they bigger the reach is.

And I recently "discovered" a way to use money in a smart way on FB. I keep dripping little amounts on different posts. Let's say 1USD or EUR a day for a couple of days. Once my payment for each click was shown as 0.00 on FB. Probably because it was such a good post to advertise. The post reached 30k with 2 EUR.

I ve noticed there is a big latency when posting. E.g My post has been published to 5 fan pages of 50k like same time..
I got only 60-70 ppl online and not 300-400 like the old days. BUT... after 1 hour I saw 200+ online and this traffic went all night. Maybe there is a 2 step exam of the post in order to check if unique/ has nudity / etc etc .

The first check is when post to a small target of ppl and after some minutes if its liked and has engagement and all criterias are ok then it spreads the post to much more people ! !?

However I feel bad I also got 0.06 cpc from 0.10 to all of my 3 websites and dont know how t fix it or do something to increase it!

I'm getting around 80-90% reach ( I'm not kidding ) with 1 page with 450k likes I'm getting 5-15k clicks per post

I have a page with over 500,000 fans...average reach is 20,000 I also have another page with 192,000 fans and the reach there is pathetic...a 1,000 at best, I cant PM anybody yet do you have skype?

Guys if you have pages with low reach PM me I have the perfect plan to make every post bypass the %50 reach :D

I have a viral media site like ViralNova or Buzzfeed and I get about 1.500 clicks and 2.300 views per post, but to achieve that I share my post in 20 groups with 2 accounts. The earnings of adsense are very BAD they can track the referrer and they see that the traffic is from facebook. The worth of social traffic is very low, I get only about $1 per 1k views.

I also thought that this would be a good idea, but I think I will quit it after 3 weeks of testing, and about 7.500 visitors and 12.000 views because its not worth the effort.

I am thinking of starting Facebook page + Website. I haven't been involved in Facebook pages for a long time, so I am wondering, what is your average reach in % now when Facebook cut down on it?
If I read posts about adsense well, you get paid around 5$ for 1000 visitors, right? I am interested in how big would Facebook page need to be to actually get 1000 people at least to click on your link(same type of content like on Facebook page, nothing spammy or products).

Thanks a lot.

There are so many variables involved in this it isn't funny.

We typically have 25-50% reach but it has EVERYTHING to do with the quality of content and ability to capture click through rate. You can expect different reach for video posts as opposed to link posts also.

When I say 25-50% reach - don't expect that you'll capture anywhere near this many on your website - you'll need to look at your link clicks. You can calculate your click through rate as reach / link clicks. It is a lot harder to coerce people to click on a link these days. For a decent post we'll usually capture 10% ctr.

This is all on a page with 2-3 million fans.

50%??? Yeah right :bigeyes2:

hmn. well average reach will be higher always if your fans are well tailored to your niche. We're experts in making this happen so I know it's always major.

Unless you have stuff targeted like cute fluffy animals and just simply pound out Facebook post reach boosts and advertisements like buzzfeed, etc you won't be able to get anywhere with Facebook. The sad truth is people spammed it to death with cpa offers and now the retribution of that is happening. You either have high quality content or your page dies, enough said.
