I am thinking of starting Facebook page + Website. I haven't been involved in Facebook pages for a long time, so I am wondering, what is your average reach in % now when Facebook cut down on it?
If I read posts about adsense well, you get paid around 5$ for 1000 visitors, right? I am interested in how big would Facebook page need to be to actually get 1000 people at least to click on your link(same type of content like on Facebook page, nothing spammy or products).

Thanks a lot.

Anyone? Is it 10%, 15%, 20%? I really doubt there are no page owners here

It's like 0.50%. But if you have the money, you can easily boost your page posts using the boost option under each post.

So page with 10k likes has reach of 50 people per post? I really doubt that.

0.50% is definitely not the average. It depends on many factors. Quintly made a study about this click here
If you have a reach over 20% per post you can be happy with it.

It depends on niches, and how active they are.

Growing fanpages is not easy nowaday tbh.

My trick is that create 10-15 dummy accounts with girls profile. Update them daily and grow them to as many friends as possible.

And have them share your page everyday. Don't overdo it though, they might get flagged.

Anyway you shouldn't expect more than 5% reach, on one my my page, it only has like 2% reach on average.

Yeah it sucks...one month i am having 50% reach next time it is 2+%.My advice is don't even get in to FB...just find something else instead or a way to get out.

Well it would be better to hire influencers (from platforms like fromote) who can post / retweet your content and increase the reach of your page.. You can get your msg to right target audience at fraction of the cost you would spend on advertising!

Did you mean "And have them share your PAGE everyday" (which will get you more fans, but since your reach is low, it won't help much) or "And have them share your POST everyday" (which will increase your reach)?

Depends on niche, if the fans you're getting are engaged in said niche, and if you post content they actually like and want to share. The trick is to watch your competition like a hawk and post what gets the most shares on both uploaded and link content. The last thing i posted reached 17%. It's all about how you grow your page, hint it's not 10,000 REAL fans for $2. Don't make the mistake a lot of people do and fuck your reach right out of the gate.

I've got a solid fan page with only about 2,500 likes, but my organic reach averages around 250. (10%)

likes 450 post reach 58
likes 807 post reach 139
likes 133 post reach 13
likes 5104 post reach 54
likes 20,698 post reach between 150 and 697 per post

It mostly depends on the user interaction, which means the more real users you have in your page who like and share your posts, the greater the reach would be.
Even though, without boosting, it never passes 20 %, and on average stays below 10%

Across 10 pages or so my average reach is 20-30% each. Pages range from 90k-400k likes
Give your users engaging content, there's no real secret to it.
