Your timing was perfect, you were able to sell on ATH. Surely , you can repeat this.

I never held long, though in the beginning long term holding was my goal. Found it in 2009/08 or when it began, but it was hard to setup for me then. I just got a laptop at 16 and syncing that damn blockchain to my HDD wallet was taking months. I waited until BTC forums had a exchanger that I was going to use then he exit schemed. After that my tidy sum of savings slowly got depleted. Losers and exes always wanted a piece of my money. I've had tidy sums in todays value, but never was financially stable enough from 25-31 enough to hold onto much.
I hate this Crypto crap now, not because I missed out, but its too volatile. Now I cash out my winnings or play to a bigger number when I win at online casinos on coupons. I just got $50 and went to $100, but couldnt withdraw because the casino wanted a deposit first though I WON. Seems like whenever I put trust in a exchange or anything related to BTC its problems. I cashed out a coupon last week and the network fee to move the crypto was like 24% of the total send.
Lots of people have problems with this crypto due to scammers, its not only a handful of people. Fraud is everywhere now days. Even the food companies are always cheating us. Who can you trust, the government? Oh, and these coins have flaws too. Some of it is people though, I know someone whos brother lost 80K BTC on his phone when the device got lost. Shit, I once had BTC Cash, there was a fork and I was supposed to airdropped $1200 BTCSV, but there was wallet problems. So screw all that crypto crap, too many issues.
The FASTEST money off it came when I had XRP at like 20 cents after the SEC decided to screw with them. Then it jumped and I got 2K in a day or something. I have some crypto nightmare stories.

It wasn't. If you look at the graph, I sold after.
BTC went for $69k and i sold at $48k. That's a big drop.

We have some bitcoins from 2017 on our balance sheet. Not sold yet and will not be sold anytime soon, so there's no return, but overall paper PnL is high.

It takes lot of patience to hold for such a long time. 2017 was a good year for bitcoin if I remember correctly, the prices peaked at the end of the year.
