Just had a boost on traffic on one of my website and the CTR hella decreased. From 4% to 1.5% as the traffic grows. Somehow the CPC shows increasing number, good lord Adsense. Would love to receive your experiences broda's?

Depends on the niche, most of the niches and sales are fucked up in the summertime, unfortunately, just wait till the end of August and you will see changes naturally.

2nd half of june is very bad. Ctr dropped from 4% to 1.5% even after catching good traffic from tier 1 countries.

Thanks for the input and hope. Summertime sadness lol..

always lesser than 2%.
oh, thought I was the only one.Have seen some guys pushing to 30% using social traffic. Guess it's time to switch platform

it's been a while since i stopped doing adsense, but i back then i was doing fb promotions and i was getting good quality traffic

anything more than 5% would be suspicious. be careful on your account.

Hardly 1 to 1.5% for me, all my ads are placed in good visible places but I still can't get a higher CTR.

same problem ctr decrease yesterday from 7 % to under 2% without any reason i think it is common problem happened in adsense yesterday

Facebook is the traffic source

Is it possible to connect some more systems in order to understand why the percentage has decreased? that is, Yandex metric and many more additional services

Normal CTR is about 3%.
The CTR doesn’t depend on niche or theme, but depend on the ad that users see. If it’s applicable to user - you will get a click.

It’s normal to get a slight drop with increase of the traffic.

CTR does not depend on the niche.
CTR depends on ad targeting, how often user sees the ad, and lowest impact on CTR has placement, but a long as the is as applicable to user he will see and click it. Anything between 1%-5% is completely normal.

2.5% is not bad at all!
You cannot expect all users want to click on the ad.

Visibility has little to do with the CTR. How often do you click on ads...?
