what is web 2.0

Hi,

Web 2.0 is the entire up gradation of previous Web.This include enhancement , such as, social media interaction, free web service like blogger,wordpress.org where you may enjoy publish a blog very easily with ready made tools and services.In the other term,you are providing content to those site as like wiki pedia , an authoritive site that enriched with authorized user content which previously not seen.
More easy example may be blogs where user can contribute, comments.If it is an enterprise, such as ebook sale, user can publish reviews.

They are high quality social sites like squidoo where you can write blogs or articles posting content related to your
money making site and then hyperlink it so you get a backlink and that builds up your tier 1 links mainly.

I was actually wondering this same thing for some time. And then i asked around, of course, i got nothing really helpful to explain it to me. So i researched it...

My understanding of Web 2.0s is this (and i can't guarantee it's correct)

At first it was just Web (1.0, if you want)... And those were the static pages where websites write and publish posts, but there is NO interaction at all.

And then the upgrade to Web 2.0 happened, and actually these are just the sites where there IS INTERACTION.

And this is reading wikis and stuff... That's the information i got.

So essentially web 2.0 means nothing to me. Because the entire internet is web 2.0 nowadays, except maybe wikipedia.. lol

Because take Twitter, facebook, youtube, there is always interaction going on.

Take blogs, there's always a post and then comments (huh, maybe websites with no comments available can be considered just Web (1.0))

Take Forums, there's conversation going on = interaction going on

Well, that's all i got...


Note: The posters above who said that most people just copy something and spin it and then write it here. I agree... But if you're gonna say that then that means that you know what Web 2.0 is... So why don't you explain it??

I disagree with this, not HIGH authority,,, Web 2.0 can be any site, even you can make your own web 2.0 site, its short to the point definition is
