I keep hearing about those crocodile, Panda Google hits, what is this? Why does suddenly good ranked sites get removed etc?

Sorry if its a noob question, just curious.

The Crocodile update was fucking brutal... that's all I have to say.

I got my croc slap early.
Unwanted pet,
Flushed it down the lav,
Now it eats rodents in the local sewers and sometimes attacks old folk.

Bloody crocodile

Scritty

Google Penguin is an over-optimising penalty that focuses on trying to stop low quality websites from appearing towards the top of search engine rankings. Google considers these sites as SPAM as they do not always offer the user with the information they?re after. At the same time, many higher quality sites have struggled to compete with poorer quality sites that successfully manipulate search results using unethical SEO tactics.

We just have to accept all the updates by google and I think
it is good that google is now focusing on content's quality rather than
backlinks and keywords. This will attach visitors with your site and when
audience finds your site worthy due to quality of content and valuable
information then they will automatically connect with you and this will
increase your traffic. Now to meet this updates your site has to meet with good
feedback of your customers and visitors.

Right, bump a 5 month old thread that had no useful information in it at all. Good going.
