It's not going to happen overnight. Those are sites that has sections Google deems popular and authoritative enough to warrant their own listings under the main header.

That is called a cache image. Submit your website to google. You can go to google and type:: "submit website" and the press enter. Click the link take the url you want to be crawled and fill out the capatcha thingy. Also you can create an account with Google. You can submit a site map to Google, and that will get you in their index faster. Just pm if you need better instructions. But to answer your question directly it is a cache image and you have to be indexed before that can happen. Hope this helps.

Same here. It's has an alexa rank of ~ 250k, so not that big nor important.
