What is this function called and what photo editing software offers it?

What I used:
For complex batching: photoshop - I have been using it for over 15 years so I have some very nifty tricks for batching.... it took of lot time and a lot of imagination to think of some
Simple batching - I use an old version of Acdsee.

Photoshop is good for editing any type of image. You can have its trial version also you will get lots of tutorial for it on internet.

Thanks for the suggestion but this does not work. The reason is that their crop has to start at a specific location eg. top left or top right of the screen. But for me the position of the crop has to change.

Can I ask one more thing, is it possible to be able to switch between resizing and cropping in GIMP on the go? Reason is that I am taking pictures of the same object but from different distances. To get achieve the approximately the same size of the object within the image, I want to zoom in more for images where I had taken the photo too far and zooming out for images where I had taken the photos too near. Ultimately, all picture dimensions would still be the same.

I see he is looking for Bulk then I must suggest the Adobe Light Room this is good for rendering and editing pictures bulky.

Try Snappa, it's free. Also I feel like Lightroom is better than Photoshop for the bulk cropping thing you're asking about.
