Hi friends,

What is the difference between Comment Karma & Post Karma in reddit? And each one of these useful for when? What is the most powerful?

You earn post karma when people give upvotes on a post that you have created.
You earn comment karma when people give upvotes on your comments in posts created by someone else.

Both are powerful, but most people prefer comment karma, because they tend to be more organic, there are many spammers flooding Reddit with posts to earn post karma with memes and AI generated images, it's easier than receiving comment karma.

I heard that to post in certain subreddits it needs to have high karma accounts?
 
Post Karma comes from upvotes on posts you make, and Comment Karma comes from upvotes on your comments. Both help build trust, but Post Karma is more powerful when posting in new subreddits.
 
I use comment karma to warm up accounts and post karma to unlock sub privileges.
 
Both are useful depending on what subs you’re targeting. I’ve had better luck getting into stricter subs with post karma, but comment karma feels more “legit” to warm up accounts.
 
post karma comes from upvotes on posts u make and comment karma from replies u drop. both help ur acct look legit but comment karma usually holds more weight when joining subs. mix both to stay safe.
 
In terms of value I'd put comment karma above post karma because it makes an account look more natural.
 
When you reply to someone's post or comment, you earn comment karma. When you make your own post and people upvote it, that's how you get post karma.
