I am lately thinking about Wordpress themes and what would be the best theme. So an idea occurred to me. I am starting this thread to see how different people describe the perfect Wordpress theme in terms of design and functionality, I think that this would be an interesting experiment.

There is no perfect Wordpress theme.

It really comes down to what "niche" you're in, and what your intentions are for that wordpress powered website.

Once you know exactly what you want to do with your website, you'll know more clearly what theme you need.

Hmm, Thank you for your posts so I guess @allurre is right. It depends on the purpose of your website. I have not thought about it like that

I personally use themes from new wp themes and just modify them a little to fit my needs.

Genesis framework as it's so versatile?
