What is the next phase for gurus?

While easy money flowed during the last couple of years there has been an explosion of gurus in various niches non im related ones too. Gurus have always existed but the general public knowing that these course sellers are for the most part just selling dreams has never been known to them. It is almost impossible to open a social media app without someone selling courses/info and getting called out or seeing someone getting exposed for being a fraud who sells courses/info.

Course/info selling will never die but seems like the ceiling has been reached for that type of business model almost feels like there needs to be a "next phase".

what do you guys think

While I don't know what the next "phase" is going to be, I assume they'll still do fairly well if we head into a global recession.
When people are desperate, they stop thinking rationally. That is when they are most vulnerable to gurus.
