Pretty sure it's not a theme and is just custom. Might be wrong though, but I looked through all the source files and it looks custom coded.

Just checked out the code and I'm leaning toward "custom" also.

It's custom coded, but a pretty easy theme to create in Wordpress. It's just a blog page with featured images and 6 widgets in the sidebar.

You could easily do this in thematic: http://thematictheme.com/
