HARO (Help a Reporter Out) - It's a PR 'platform' (soon to change over to Cision I believe) used by creators/bloggers/journalists/businesses etc to connect with sources that can provide them with content. For example - a very popular news agency may ask for experts to pitch to them about a certain article they are writing for - lets say for the topic 'Healthy Eating and why it's declining in teenagers' - and you would, as a health professional/nationalist, send them your pitch/idea. If they choose to use your content - usually a short writing piece or quote - you could get a very good backlink back to your site. It's not easy, and you usually don't get a response at all. What's HARO?
