I've got my eye on a very brandable domain for sale.

Its got no links or history.

Its just sitting in someone's domain registrar doing nothing.

Think of Amazon, Ebay or Etsy.

This domain sticks in your mind...just like those above....

So what would be your maximum offer?

depends on your budget, honestly. Even if the seller asks for $100k but you only have $10k you can't afford paying what he's asking for :)

Also, since the domain doesn't have a history yet (so, there's no recognizable brand for it), I honestly wouldn't pay more than a few 100s (let's say, up to $1000). But, I'm not a greedy domainer that hoards domains and prices them like everyone on the planet was google or amazon (able to pay $100 millions for a domain name), so probably that my answer doesn't satisfy you

Good domains seel for million.
There is a guy who sell xyz domains and make nearly 6 figures per year with domain selling.
So, there is not an exact reply to your question.
Price is based on price tag and how an end user is able to pay.
Ultra short (2 / 3 chars) or dictionary words .com domains sell for million.
The last one? property dot com. 36 MM.
