What is the maximum amount I should pay for this domain?

Hi guys,

I am in the process of purchasing a domain from a broker and would like a sanity check on the pricing.

I have pasted the screenshot from Majestic showing the TF and the referring domain metrics below.

I am getting this domain for $4000. I don't know if this is too much or a steal, since I have not purchased a domain before. I'm looking for a range, so that I know I'm not over-paying for it.

What do you guys think? if anyone has made a similar purchase, would love to hear about it.

I don't care about the website that is currently on the domain. I am purchasing this only for the back-links.

Depending on the content, previous owners, history, dropped or non-dropped, niche relevant. Just by looking at the metrics I wouldn't pay above $3,000. The Ref. IPs are a lot lower. If they were 4k as well then yes it would be worth $4k.
Also is this on root?

If you badly need this domain maybe 500$ are ok but in my opinion for this metrics.

Would not want to bother someone who is busy. That said, it might be a good business idea for @Nargil to create a human domain appraisal service - $20 to $50 per domain appraisal. While buying an asset worth $5000 I'd be happy to shell out a few dollars for expert advice.

Yes. These are the majestic metrics for the root domain.

Ah please, I will gladly answer. I would be concerned here about that RD/IP ratio f or sure. When almost 1600 referring domains come from same IP, that's mostly a huge nope in my book. Feel free to shoot me the domain via PM if you want and I can take a closer look.

If the domain is clean and decent, price is anywhere between $7 - $10K. Anyone who says less than that has not seen the auctions lately. I had taken a break from domain bidding for 2 months. When I came back, there was 50% less clean domains available and prices were again 50%+, so yeah, shit is expensive.

I would look first an foremost at Ahrefs backlink profile. Well Majestic works too. Bare numbers mean shit. Only after seeing actual backlinks, I could say whether the price is high or not.
