What is the main purpose for Xrumer

Hey Everyone,

What is the main purpose for Xrumer?

Is it the creating of forum profiles?

I've also read that it has the ability to massive PM on forums, is that a good idea? Wouldn't the profile get banned?

One last question, if i'm planning to make only a few hundred profiles and harvest only a few thousand urls, is it worth getting a dedicated server or can I stick with my vps server.

I'll appreciate any kind of help, thank you. I'll try my best to also contribute to this awesome forum.

yes, i understand that. but how does it help me boost my serp?
jus by the backlinks in my forum profile?

The more backlinks the better rankings in google. Is that clearer?
 
xRumer seems a little too advanced for you at the moment.

You should study blackhat seo a little more, then consider buying scrapebox or something lighter for a start.

My thoughts, I could be wrong.

First of all - Google Xrumer. They have a site where you can read what the software does.

Second and most important, the software is $540.00 or close, and you would be wasting your money spending it on xrumer right now. With the questions you are asking, you need to do more research.

Like suggested start with a lighter tool like scrapebox. Though it is very powerful and can be complex it is much lighter then scrapebox.

If you want to get into the forum side of things, look at sick submitter. I believe it to be the very very poor mans xrumer.

If you want to see how it can help your sites, IXrumer on this forum offers a great service. I think the small package is $5.00

Give that a go and see how you like the results. Good luck.

Basically spam is the main purpose. This includes PM spam, Post spam, and Profile spam.
 
again if u don't even get the basics behind forum profiles i really suggest staying away from xrumer

John, thanks for your nice criticism but I do understand the basics of forum profiles. And I do understand that the purpose of xrumer. Like everyone else I'm just trying to learn and research this product before buying it.
 
I know this is heresy, but for noobs who just want to get a maybe 1000-2000 links a day, then hosting on a spare PC at home with 20 private proxies is best.

It's really not that hard to set up at home, and for many users 2000 links (of which 800 will stick) a day is plenty.

Nice thing is is it's almost a "one off" price. and the bot people that make it keep it up to date for about $10 a month - which compared to how much you will make with it is really very little.

I am getting 7 as soon as it ships, and will be running it 5 threads 8 hours a night on a home rig. Plenty for me.
Of course if you set up on a dedicated server (expect to pay $250 per month for one of these) then you can sell your spare "overhead" to pay for the server cost.

Just a thought.
