I haven't sold in a while, but i remember a year ago when I hit 500$ i was asked ssn. Which is crazy to me. Also, is there a method to get the verification to pass with the last 4 digits somehow?
What is the $ limit before ebay asks for SSN?

No there’s no workaround for that
If you’re in the US eBay legally must collect full SSN for tax reporting once you pass the $600 threshold. They don’t accept only the last 4 digits anymore and any method trying to bypass this will fail or get the account restricted
