I read on AC's page that they pay anywhere from $3-$20 per article.

On one article what is the most money you received so far?

    for me it's been $4.13

I love AC but I think their on some BS about this $3-$20 range.

For the past year, five dollars is the most I have received from them, and that is for 1500+ words and completely unique content. They were paying close to triple that a few years back, before they became relatively well known.

$8.01 for an rewritten article of about 450 words.

It was about a year ago for my 1st article.

Seeing the lower amounts later on I thought the higher 1st payout was like a sort of welcome to encourage you.

$0.00 >.< gotta love being in the UK!

i'm tempted to just get a verified american paypal though & make a load of accounts to use that & submit with them.

when i find a nice source of unique content i'll do that i guess, probably isn't worth my time atm!

$0.00 so far, but I've got 3 articles submitted, all unique/original so we'll see.

I started out trying to do the whole "plagiarize" thing but I discovered that I can write my ASS off at HIGH SPEEDS BABY!

Seriously. I write awesomely. And I will do your articles for $5 a piece on any subject.

My line of bullshit is just that good ^^

    lol

But yea, I'm expecting at least the one I submitted on 9/27 to go through tomorrow, so wish me luck guys.

Oh yea, figured out a new way to eWhore, might post about it later, though I bet it's just some should-be-obvious secret that no one talks about ^^

good luck with both AC & eWhoring!

ewhoring's really saturated so people will probably do your technique, just not tell anyone :p

and as for writing articles, $5 is a good price, but loadsa ppl on RAC / GAF / DP etc. do them for $3, which sucks. i was gonna start writing 5/6 articles a day to help pay for things, but couldn't compete so didn't bother!

hey, how does AC make money off people submitting articles? I mean even though this is BHW, don't you guys feel as if your ripping off AC by rewriting and submitting crappy articles?

other people need content and will happily pay for it. thats why there is a difference between $4 and $20 articles.

even crap unique content is better than no content. index's love content. people pay for it. AC gets paid by people who need it, and pay some to those who write it.

there will always be demand, thus money. AC makes money off it, so its win-win really. just abit sub-standard win-win. of course, the paying client isn't going to complain at the lovely ranking his keyword he gets just from sheer volume of content!

I don't know what you guys call crappy articles, because if it has poor grammar, poor sentence structure etc. it's sure to get rejected by AC. I wouldn't exactly call an article crappy if it's at a certain acceptable standard. Not very informative yes, but written with good English.

Or any freelance site you can make $10+ if you can write decent articles, I'm not sure why you would take $4 for an article, even if it's a rewrite. Unless you automate it with something that spits out really readable stuff, then of course that would make sense but I mean at $4 you might as well get a job at mcdonalds.

Have you ever taken the time read AC?

I've been reading it heaps since I recently joined, and it is poorly moderated in that way, seriously. I've seen website spelled wegsite, and many more I'm honestly too ripped to remember ;)

But... my whole experience reading it has been a lot of 1 star ratings, a few 3s, a couple 5s, and a whole lot of "if they effing reject MY articles, I will turn eThug and wig out on them. I better get 7 bucks yo".

They are way more concerned with seo rankings than quality. They are really pushing community over anything, although yea, I'm sure there is a fair amount of uber-crap that probably gets tossed.

BlackSmack: It's like, if you write 7 or 8 articles a day, at 4 bucks a pop, and you do them all in under a 1/2 hour a piece, there's a full time labor living in a part time time frame. Plus, every 1000 views your articles get, you get $1.50. So, if you are really social on there and make a lot of people feel like reading what you have to say by mingling them and favoriting them etc, it should not only bring whatever SEO article power you can manage, but also the virility of friends. THAT is how some of the people there are making a full time [and GOOD] living with Associated Content alone.

Especially the WAHMs, they are like a tribe. lol.

edit: also, a lot of them probably take every single reject and just always have fresh content for their blogs. Like, they probably all go hard at writing for AC, and expect, accept, and post rejects on other blogs. Actually, there's the rebirth of the AC method too, not just ewhoring today lol Instead of re-working and re-submitting your rejects, just post them to a new or existing niche specific blog you may have.

Money in the bank for later. That is, if it becomes a solid routine.

Lol. I only consider AC a good place to earn some money to invest in other internet ventures. Affiliate marketing is my favorite method of making money online. But I also like multiple source of income because I want to get paid every single day.

I totally agree. Actually, I have a really hard time picking an offer and promoting it, especially with clickbank. I've seen all kinds of stuff on it and I just can't get it down lol.

The article writing thing, using techniques found in this forum for rapid production, or writing really fast then cleaning it up, it really does feed people, at least in the US.

I shall pm you as to avoid hijacking this topic, I wonder if you might have some pointers/important links. cheers.

As others have said here, the point is to actively generate ongoing upfront cash of a full time nature on part time effort. Writing for AC permits that, thus providing 'working capital' to support you while building up the rest of your (more passive income) IM business centers. Working eBay also can provide this kind of cash, which is why it's also been a popular option.

If you want more than $5 an article, one legit way to go would be to choose to take payment via page impressions. Then set up a cookie cutter of a massive traffic funnel to drive site views to each of your article links (a cocktail of CL, Gumtree, Yahoo Answers, you tube, RSS, SB etc backlinks), to give each page a 5-10k view boost. Viola, $7.50-15 an article.

I rewrite in 15 mins on average a 500-700 word article with good grammar and spelling...at $4 average...shit that's like making $12 an hour...

Surely you can't get paid that much starting at McDonald's...

Why the hell is anyone crying about $4 an article???...3 articles an hour x $4 average = $12 hour x 8 hours a day x 5 days a week = $1,920 a month...scale the numbers up or down to your fancy...

Sure it would suck ass to rewrite articles all day long...but the numbers are there...

Your first month in IM doing this you would make more money than 99% of 'newbies'...
