What is the diffrence between .fr / .com

Ok so im trying to start a french niche, but whats the difference between .fr / .com

because im trying to start a french niche. But maybe i would xfer it english or have a option where both is possible such as enter here/ or "enter here" but in french

also do french google same kw in english or is it in french?

I read somewhere that a "local" domain, in this case .fr, would get you ranked better in your country, while your global ranking wouldn't be really high. On the other side, .com ranks better globally than locally.

Alright cause i might one day swich this site back to english so i should stick with .com?

OP doesn't fully understandable
If you want to empasize on local market then .fr will give you some more opportunity to get attension.

I believe when ranking you'll most likely rank more highly on google.fr

If it's a necessity that you get ranked higher and quicker in your own country, then go with the .fr, I would go with the .com and buy the .fr also so I have it at the ready.
