What is the difference between VPN and Proxy

I want service can provide me unlimited changes of IP addresses, usually I need new fresh IP every 5-10 minute

So what service will be suitable for me

I want rotating VPN or Proxies with large pool of IP addresses

Please guide me

you need rotating Proxies

While both provide security by way of IPs, VPN IPs are pretty well known so most web services will know you connect from a VPN and will handle your connection accordingly. For Proxies, particularly mobile proxies, the IPs can only be identified as an IP connecting from a certain location but appears largely unnoticed and indistinct.

VPN ips are used by many so most websites know you can connecting through which VPN. However since Proxy ips are specifically used by few people these are known by less websites. In your case you need rotating proxies.

you need rotating proxies not VPN...

A VPN provides a higher level of security, privacy, and encryption for all your internet traffic, whereas a proxy primarily masks your IP address and can be used for specific applications or circumventing restrictions.

For average Joe it's the same.
That's why we have "vpn" browser extensions.
For Geo spoofing proxies are cheaper and in most cases are enough.

A VPN creates a secure, encrypted connection between your device and a remote server. A proxy server acts as a middleman between your device and the internet.

Vpn can be secure or not secure. Just like proxy.
Vpn can be encrypted or plain text. Just like proxy.
Vpn is a middleman. Just like proxy.
So what's the difference? Layer of OSI! Proxy acts on application level, vpn acts on transport layer.

The main difference between a VPN and a proxy is that a VPN encrypts your internet connection and routes it through a remote server, providing you with privacy and security. On the other hand, a proxy acts as an intermediary between your device and the internet, allowing you to mask your IP address and access restricted content.

If you're looking for unlimited changes of IP addresses with a rotating system, a rotating proxy service would be more suitable for your needs. These services offer a large pool of IP addresses that change periodically, giving you a fresh IP every 5-10 minutes.

Just to not go away from initial topic.

Main reason why people are having thoughts what to choose is not understand do they need a lot of random IPs that are giving you high level of privacy or just need some GEO change so they can watch Netflix or similar.

Main difference:
VPN can provide a lot of different countries and cities to choose but not too much IPs. Usually there are 1000 or more users per 1 location on VPN network and IP get recognized like VPN buy all biggest companies like Google, Facebook, Instagram, and others. They are also cheep to buy.
Mobile proxies give you ability to have many different IPs like any real mobile user have while using smartphone anywhere in the world. Mobile IPs are also almost always got thru CGNAT so that make them almost impossible to be banned as they world ban thousands of legit users at the same time. Regarding price they are always more expensive then VPN but if your business is depending on privacy with IP and DNS mobile proxies are worth of money.

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) encrypts your entire internet connection, while a proxy server acts as an intermediary for specific network requests. VPNs provide more security and privacy compared to proxies.

That is correct. If you are business users who want to access company HQ or home office you go for VPN.

But if you want to go around some company policy about GEO location to manage FB account, or scrape data, or do Google stuff you choose proxies. In that case encryption is not top priority but masking from where your traffic is coming is and changing IP frequently is most important.

Both VPNs and proxies can be used to provide online privacy and anonymity by masking your IP address and encrypting your internet traffic. VPNs can be slower than proxies due to the encryption process, and may not always work with certain apps or services.

If you're looking for a service that can provide you with unlimited changes of IP addresses, you may want to consider using a rotating proxy service. These services typically offer a large pool of IP addresses that rotate automatically, so you get a fresh IP address every few minutes or seconds.

You should be directed to proxy, but you must be aware of proxy usage, and choose the right proxy.

VPNs work on the operating system level and reroute all your traffic through a VPN server, while proxies work on the application level and only reroute the traffic of a specific app or browser. You need Proxies.
