What is the difference between anonymous and google proxies? Which would you recommend I use?

Google blocks a lot of proxies after misusing Google, requiring Captcha solving to proceed. Basically Google proxies have been verified that they're not blocked (yet).

Would you recommend not using anonymous proxies or does it not really matter?

I don't think Google will grudge you much if you're transparent. You might just have to fill in a Captcha. But, I do think google sees through the others and blocks all that shine your ip through..
