what is the default pixel size of webpages?

    Hey

    I wonder what's the default pixel size I should optimize my site for. I'm using a monitor with high display resolution (1280x1024), so the page size look good on my monitor. But wonder if I should optimize for 900x900 or I don't know... what you suggest?

    You should optimize for 1024x768 monitors (that means 980px of width for the website) as it's the most used nowadays

    majority are on 1024x768 now

    if you have any website stats, check the resolution your visitors are using,
