What is the current environment with youtube and lockers

I’d like to promote a locker on youtube in a niche that is NOT game hacks. How long do links last? Will youtube detect my locker link and ban my account?

I've seen people advise to not leave a link and instead mention the locker URL in the video. I'm just wondering if that only applies to the risky niches like gaming that youtube is targeting

Yes, it's a lot more risky to add a link directly to your landing page on youtube, and it will increase the risk of your video getting removed/striked.

You need to test multiple types of promotion in order to find the best one with a very low to no deletion rate, depending on your specific niche/how strict it is, (blackhat, whitehat etc.)

Youtube AI doesn't like seeing lockers these days, do not show the locker in the vid. You can probably show the landing page but that's about it.
