What is the cheapest, but still useful, SEO tool?

I would like to buy a SEO tool, because I feel like it would help me rank my blog more easily.
But they are usually really expensive (Semrush, Ahrefs and so on...)

My blog is italian, so no point in buying a tool that only offers US data.
I found keysearch, it costs 24 dollars/month, would you recommend it?

Do you know any other working tool for less than 25/30 a month? Thanks in advance.

Yes, Keysearch is a solid recommendation for that budget; also consider Ubersuggest or the free versions of Semrush/Ahrefs combined with Google's free tools (Search Console, Trends, Keyword Planner) for comprehensive Italian SEO data.

I haven't heard of Pincher, so I can't recommend it; for a critical tool like this, always verify its data accuracy and user reviews before committing, as a cheap but unreliable tool can harm your SEO efforts.

I used Keysearch several years ago and - while it didn't compare to the big ones (Ahrefs and Semrush) - it was decent for me, in the sense that I could get a rough idea of what I was up against when I did my research using Keysearch

Again, it didn't have as much data as Ahrefs and Semrush, but for someone like me (15+ SEO experience under his belt) it was OK because I also used my experience and intuition to figure out whether the keywords analyzed by Keysearch were worth going after.

The biggest problem with Keysearch (especially if you're a newbie) is that they use MOZ for their research and backlinks analysis, and MOZ seems to be the worst of the 3 big SEO companies (Ahrefs, Semrush, MOZ), so you can expect less, and less accurate data to work with.

Nowadays I don't do SEO anymore, but if I would, I would not use Keysearch anymore. Instead of paying $24 / month for MOZ-based tool, you can get Semrush account for less than $20 / month from this guy (I've used him few months ago):

Although - to be fully honest - I don't know for how long these providers can still offer cheap Semrush accounts now that Semrush has been acquired by Adobe. I suspect major changes to the pricing structure and / or benefits offered to Semrush members, coming next year, so try to make use of these accounts while they're still being offered

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. I know that these "cheap" tools can't compete with the big ones, but still, I'm looking for something valuable. I'm not too keen with renting tools, since i'm always worried that each time it could be the last time i get to log in haha. I'm now thinking about buying Wincher, it's just 10 dollars a month with the Cyber Monday sale, so why not give it a try. I'll then maybe post a review here since I haven't found any.

This did happen to me 2 times with the 4 accounts that I've purchased from that dude. Once it was my fault (I broke the rules that he's given me, so I got my account disabled but the seller replaced it with a different account), but the 2nd time it wasn't my fault, so I lost the $10 that I paid for 14 days of usage... Personally, I didn't mind as I was using these accounts for minimum stuff (basic keyword research and backlinks analysis, I didn't even touch 80-90% of the stuff that Semrush offers), but I can see how it will be a problem for someone who needs all of the bells and whistles that come with Semrush.

never heard of it, but if it's only $10 / month that's indeed a good deal. The question is, how much it will help as - from what I understand - you need to do research on Italian markets, and I've personally not found a single SEO tool that works with that geolocation.

But the last time I've researched SEO tools has been like 5-6 years ago so, I don't know, maybe things have changed in the meantime...

I would say, contact Wincher support and ask them about the Italian stuff, if they don't have it then I don't see reason to use them.

Anyway, before committing to one of these things, I would say research (and even contact) each one of these tools, maybe they're better than Wincher (or even Keysearch / Semrush), you never know

SEO Power Suite... this is one of the least mentioned (but which is still good) SEO suites that I've heard of (and even used, albeit over 10 years ago, but even then they've been pretty good, I assume that nowadays they're even better) but which can be considered a decent alternative to Ahrefs, Semrush, etc...

Jaaxy... I used to use these guys for my SEO research some 7-8 years ago when I was part of the Wealth Affiliate membership site, and Jaaxy was integrated into WA's system, so I got to use Jaaxy a lot during my time with WA, and I got to like it eventually, even if - back then - I didn't have access to all of Jaaxy's features, I think we were getting the middle plan or something, because I remember that we were using a paid plan, but not the highest paying one...

Besides, if they've not removed the free plan, you can join for free and test drive their keyword research for free to see if it meets your needs, and then you can upgrade or drop it. Since it's free, you won't be losing anything

Mangools... another tool that gets decent recommendations, and which I remember to have used in the past (when I was using group buys and paid like $2-3 for access to Mangools) and it was pretty good. Of course, it's still not as good as Ahrefs and Semrush, so don't expect to get Ahrefs-level of data with Mangools (or with any other tool), but it's a decent option (and cheaper too I would guess)

Keywords Everywhere... this used to be one of the cheapest (albeit most basic too) keyword research tools some years ago, but I noticed that they've increased the prices considerably. But probably that they've added more features too, which could justify the new price. Just give them a try (see if they have free trial), or take them up on their BF / CM offers if they still have these...

Answerthepublic... personally, I've never liked this tool, but that was like 10 years ago when I tried it. I can see that a lot has changed with them in the meantime, so I might try them again in the future (if I can be bothered to go back to doing SEO that is )... Anyway, check them out, maybe you'll like their prices / features...

With a bit of googling I could probably list few more popular SEO tools, but I wanted to mentioned only the stuff that I've used, so I'll leave it to you to google for more options.

But honestly, since many of these tools are still offering BF discounts I would say contact them ASAP and ask them about serving Italian markets and any other questions that you might have, and then jump in while their discounts last

Keysearch is a good budget-friendly SEO tool and works well for small blogs. If your budget is under $30, Keysearch or Mangools are the best options to start.

Yeah Keysearch is worth it for an Italian blog, and Mangools or Ubersuggest are the best alternatives under $30/month.

- There would also be SEO Powersuite but I'd have to wait a week, since there's a particular discount idk.

Keysearch is a good budget option. You can also try Ubersuggest, Serpstat, or Mangools all affordable and support non-US data.

Ubersuggest is quite useful and cheap. It does the work.

Alright, I tried Whincher, and it actually has no data, it says certain keywords have no traffic, but in reality they do.
I then tried creating a Keysearch account, and it only lets you create an account if you're from the Us (?)

hmm.... I am from Romania and I still used Keysearch (albeit several years ago). Just contact them and ask, man! It's always highly recommended that you contact customer support before jumping in on any of these tools, if they don't reply this is one of the safest ways to know to stay away from that tool. And if they reply... well... you find out the answers to your questions, so it's worth contacting them

Keysearch support used to be good when I used it, they always replied within hours to my questions, so ask them about everything that you need help with, it will be better than waiting for us to reply here with (potentially) outdated info...
