What is the best wordpress theme?

I had some search console errors on jannah, newspaper and generate press are perfect.
 
I'm a long time Generatepress user but I recently switched to Kadence and I can honestly say I prefer it.
 
Theme is so unimportant when you have enough knowledge in wordpress because any modern theme use most similar things like Elementor ...my recommend is that you learn Elementor for wordpress and you will be able to change a lot of themes easy as you wish. I am making some amazing websites for people after i learned elementor.

Elementor is great but it is kinda the opposite of knowledge. Web development isn’t my forte and I have used elementor with great success. I personally use it due to my lack of time and knowledge.

block builders and templates are the easy way out.
 
I just switched to GeneratePress from DIVI. It's amazing, functional and very lightweight.

I never had higher than 50/80 desktop/mobile. Now I'm seeing 88/100 with GeneratePress and zero optimisation done - I reckon I could get 100/100 with GP.
 
If you're looking for something with a free version, try ASTRA

Let's just put it this way... all my money making blogs use that theme :)

You can use Newspaper, Neeon, Zeen, THEGEM, Those are also SEO friendly.
 
I'm not saying the new thing infact all said as most common answer is Generate Press and Astra. This will make the good theme.
