Depends on how you intend to monetize, affiliate marketing or adsense...I use Matt Carter`s affiliate theme. It looks nice and clean. But content is what it comes down to...

Well in my opinion, the best SEO theme is Thesis

You don't even need SEO plugins because you have them all at your disposal
